À l’occasion de la parution du livre Voix et visions. La collection Koopman et l’art du livre français, la revue Art & Métiers du Livre présente dans un long dossier cette collection de littérature française, celle de Louis Koopman qu’il a offert en 1940 à la Koninklijke Bibliotheek. Après son décès, la Bibliothèque poursuit son œuvre et continue de l’enrichir au fil des ans, par l’acquisition de livres contemporains. Nous avons l’honneur d’y figurer, et Paul van Capelleveen de nous faire rougir par ces quelques mots:
«Pierre Walusinski, graveur de poinçons typographiques, est également un éditeur de livres extraordinaires. Il a publié une sélection de lettres de guerre sous le titre L’Encre des tranchées en 2001 et, tout récemment (2009), Séquelles, un texte de Jean Tardieu illustré de 10 gravures en taille-douce de Petr Herel (…)».

The Koopman Collection
The jewel of the National Library of the Netherlands

On the occasion of the publication of the book Voix et visions. La collection Koopman et l’art du livre français (Voices and visions. The Koopman Collection and the Art of French book), the magazine Art & Métiers du Livre release a long review about this French literature collection, that of Louis Koopman he offered in 1940 at the Koninklijke Bibliotheek. After his death, the Library continues his work and continues to grow over the years through the acquisition of contemporary books. We are honored to be included, and Paul van Capelleveen make us blush with these words:
« Pierre Walusinski, typographic punch cutter is also a publisher of extraordinary books. He has published a selection of war letters under the title L’Encre des tranchées (The Ink trenches) in 2001 and most recently (2009), Séquelles, a text by Jean Tardieu illustrated with 10 engravings plates by Petr Herel (…) « .
